Turkish cuisine is a fusion of Central Asian, Middle East, Eastern Europe and Balkan cuisines. It has pretty tasty dishes and you may want to take a bite from each one. You may say “kebab” is the famous, but there are more to taste!

It a breakfast item for Turkish people. Scrambled eggs are added to fried chopped onions, peppers, paprika and oregano and cooked slowly.
Çiğ Köfte: Spicy Balls
Get ready for some hot stuff! It is a spicy ball made with bulgur, onion and a lot of red pepper. This is a traditional food from southern Turkey.
Dolma: Stuffed Peppers
Peppers, eggplants or zucchinis are stuffed with minced meat, onion and rice. It is served warm. There is also a vegetarian option without meat.
Karniyarik: Stuffed Eggplant
A big and warm eggplant stuffed with ground meat, onion, tomatoes, pepper and parsley. Generally served with pilau, otherwise ask for it!
Baklava: Pastries
It is very very sweet and it is a classic! Flaky pastry layer, complemented by chopped nuts and held together by syrup.
